Please translate this in french..... Its a dialogue presentation and I need it to make sense like you cant just translate it word by word I need to have meaning......HELP!!!!!!!!!

I recently had layers added, now I don't like them- what would you do...?

A few weeks ago, I added a lot of layers to my almost one-length long hair. My hair is still at the middle of my back, but now instead of long, subtle layers, I have many layers that begin above the chin, as well as side-swept bangs. I liked the cut at first, but because my hair is straight, the layers don't look good unless I style my hair curly or wavy. I really want my "less layered" look back, but I can't decide whether to just grow it out with the layers, or whether to cut it shorter and get rid of most of the layers. I prefer to have my hair long, but I want my old look back.

I would let it grow out a little at a time. Get frequent trimmings to keep it looking nice.

I wouldn't cut it off because it sounds like you'll miss your hair and it won't be your old look anyhow.

sorry, but you have to wait until your hair is grown back so you can get your old "look" back.but in the meanwhile, use clips for the bangs, and/or get a perm. don't worry about it, you look beautiful!

I would just let it grow out. I don't get my long hair trimmed as often as I should, so I do get it layered just a bit when I do go. I just got mine done, but the layers aren't that short. I like that it adds some body to my hair, even just in a ponytail.

Hmmmm im the exact opposite. I had gotten my hair layered and it looked great when it was wet but then when it dried i FREAKED. I have naturally wavy hair and i don't like how layers look with waves and curls. Thats why i straighten my hair and i love my layers with straightened hair. You should probably just give it some more time and get a little more used to it. I was freaking the first few weeks too LOL. But if you still have a problem. Dont get your hair cut unless you like short hair. If you like long hair just let it grow out and then get it redone but with less layers.

You know what, from the problem you seem to be having with your hair (flat roots, poofy ends), it seems that your hair is cut in one layer. I had my really curly hair cut like that a while back and it was a big mistake. Go back the salon, and ask for layers, or just ask them to "shape it up". Please don't go to super cuts. Those people always screw up curly hair really bad. Go to an Ulta or Tony and Guy. It'll cost you a little more, but it's so worth it. Trust me, I'm not even a big spender.

But for now, continue to style your hair normally, but when ever it's damp (not wet), grab peices of hair that frame your face, hold it straight up in the air , and apply hairspray to it. Wait 5 seconds then let it go. It won't make it look super big, but it'll lift it just enough.

What's the easiest way to curl naturally wavy hair?

Every method I've seen involves lots of product and/or curling iron use. I'd love to be able to wear my hair curly (or at least in neat waves) w/o all that. I'm not thinking spirals or anything (though that'd be cute too), just something better than the craziness I wake up w/.

I'd like this as a daily look, hence the desire to avoid styling products. Thanks!

What's the easiest way to curl naturally wavy hair?

Three methods.. I use all, depending on how wavy I want my hair:

Do these after you wash your hair and let it air dry.

a) This gives your hair thicker waves. Sleep with your hair in a tight bun as close to your head as possible. Make sure the bun is tight or it'll fall out in your sleep. When you wake up, take out the bun, shake your head (don't comb your fingers through or you'll flatten the waves).

b) This is more complicated, but I like these waves more. This makes your hair wavier.

- Divide your hair into three sections. I tend to take two chunks of hair on either side of my face, and a chunk of hair underneath.

- Work with each chunk of hair at a time, and divide one chunk into two pieces again. Twist the strands of hair AS CLOSE TO YOUR SCALP AS POSSIBLE, or else you will have straight hair at the top that will go wavy towards the bottom.

- Twist each piece INDIVIDUALLY, and then twist those pieces together.

- Do this for EACH chunk of hair (so when you're done, you will have THREE twists in your hair).

- Sleep in them, and when you wake up, take the twists out but try not to run your fingers through them or you will make the waves frizzy. Add mousse if you'd like... but these kinds of waves don't need them.

c) Braid your hair like your normally would before bed. But, these waves don't look as natural as the ones above.

The very best way to get curly or wavy hair is not with an electric iron (this is okay for bangs and sides, however), and not with electric rollers. Both are too damaging, take too long, and will not hold very long. Try a steam setter (Richard Caruso makes a great one). Steam setters are a true gift for your hair! First of all, they set all types of hair, even hair that never could become wavy or curly before. well you just answered one of my questions, and your answer rocked milly so I dont want my answer to suck for you. But what I would do is go the the store and find one of the many magazines they make with hairstyles in them. they have short hairstyle mags...long hair, black peoples hair,all kinda stuff. Also you may find a website with hairstyles. I once saw a website with celebrities with different hairstyles that rocked.

Also..a sure fire way to have a great hair day, is to do some cheap at home tricks to make your hair in tip top shape.. my favorite is:

**before you shampoo...put 1or 2 beaten raw eggs in your hair, then rinse out and shampoo as usual.

**when you get done conditioning your hair...give it a cold water rinse! make sure the water is very cold. the shock value to your hair makes it very shiny and silky!

If you have a shower every morning, put curl enhancer in it while its still wet and then defuse it with a hair dryer. It look so cute, back takes awhile. My friend has frizzyish hair and whenever she does this it looks so good! it takes the frizz and turns them into curls, its awesome! Also, if it isn't too thick, try straightening it and it will look really sleek and shiny! Try those out!

You should try straightening it out. If it is curly but not wavy, try doing light waves to your hair. Put it in a half-do, it'll look really pretty.

I just bought garnier surf spray a couple weeks ago and its pretty good. there are 2 different spray styles on the back of the bottle. Hangin Loose-u apply that to dry hair and then u scrunch it. then theres Tousled Trendrils-u apply it to slightly damp hair, and then twirl ur hair with ur fingers, and then blow dry it.then run ur fingers through ur hair for a wind-blown style! Tousled Trendrils would probably be the best for u! It would make ur hair look like beach hair!The spray smells good too!

you could layer it, it would also look great when/ if you straighten it. Don't layer it too much though, if you layer it too much and you dont like it, then it will stink because to get rid of it you will have to cut a lot off. But I dont know a lot about curly hair, i have very straight hair, so dont take my word about it

I have a lot of hair which I find difficult to style because it isn't straight but it's not wavy or curly, it's kind of in between. It's shoulder length, and ? sometimes straighten it with ceramic straighteners, but I don't like using them coz they dry out my hair even more than it already is, making it even more unmanageable. Does anyone know any ways to create pretty loose curls or waves easily and without expensive styling products that damage the hair?

Sponge rollers and some stying gel, to get curls/waves. Apply the styling product on damp hair, and put on those rollers. Let your hair air dry, if you have the time, or just diffuse it with a dryer. This is a minimum-damage route to curly hair, all you get is some build up, which you can be rid of with a good clarifying shampoo the next morning.

Well put your hair up or in braids or something. You know wahts really nice? You put your hair up in a ponytail/bun kinda thing and you pull out a bit of hair. Then you put a headband on it and thrown on some nice earrings. Looks nice. haha. Sorry if this didnt really help you.

My daughters hair is like yours, and to help with the dryness and frizzes, I use a grease (just a small amount called Indian hemp), It's an all natural product, it's usually cheap, and after you put it into your hair you can usually style it however you wish, even with a curling iron.

I would use garneir fructis sleek and shine shampoo it controls frizz and makes it really glossy and nice and it smells great! try brushing your hair with a flat brush no round ones because you could get your hair tangled and that's not fun (trust me). maybe flip the edge of your hair out

Hey girl! I have the same problem with my hair here's some advice if you do want to straighten your hair use a huge round brush and a blow dryer with the attachment it does not damage your hair to much but changing the way your hair naturally is is always damage your hair somehow. About the loose curls use Garnier Nutrese, L'Oreal, Suave, or V05. You can also buy hair products from your local hair salon or beauty store. Good Luck!

This will be the third time I donate my hair to locks of love. They used to post a list of salons that gave a discount/incentive for donation and they don't any more. The first stylist I went to is no longer listed and the second salon did not impress me. I realize that haircuts aren't necesarily free, but i know there must be people out there who are comitted to helping potential donators. I love donating whenever possible (usually takes me about 2 years to grow 10 inches) but I can't afford an expensive haircut and I need someone who knows what they're doing to help my crazy curly hair *Not* look like a puff ball when it's cut!

Locks of love made only 113 wigs in an entire year, they SELL the majority of the hair received (for extensions) and they do not allow for independent auditing of their financial records. Who knows where the money from selling hair really goes to, somebody's pocket perhaps ?

A lot of hair doesn't even make it Locks of Love, type in "human hair ponytail" on EBay and look at all those listings. That hair is being sold to hair fetishists.

If you don't mind your hair ending up on Paris Hilton's back or sold to a pervert though ....... go ahead and "donate"

My hair is curly, med-long lenght and quite damage. I have trouble deciding if my curls look okay or not when I style them. Yes, I am obsessed. Anywyas, Catwalk seems to be the big thig. Is it really that great for curly hair. Mostly the styling products and the leave in I wanna know about? Does it make the curls in "pieces"? Does it help cut down puffiness? Humidity? I'm clueless here. Some says it's great some says it's bad? What did it do to your curls?

I have very very curly hair, and my hair is a disaster. My real problem is the bangs. They are thick and chunky and they don't frame my face well (I look like one of those grunge-people). Straightening it won't do anything, because they are still big and chunky, just straight. I can't get a different haircut either, because there is nobody around here who does curly hair. Are there any styles that I can do to help it?

It's very difficult to answer your question w/o having pictures or anything to "judge". You may have to get it chemically "relaxed" or deep conditioned... Also, shop around I'm sure there's got to be someone that can "tame your tresses"... For now I would try a hot oil treatment or leave in conditioner to help it "behave" Good luck

Your hair can make or break your look. I don't know how important your hair is to you but if it were me I would drive to the closest city and seek out a stylist. Aveda salons are great. I always interview a new stylist and then I decide if I want to hire her to do my hair. This is so so so important if you are really picky like me.

Okay...well Im 14 and very short so something cute.. First of all, your highlights are awful. I would get it dyed, all one deep brown color. You should keep the length (cut off a couple of inches) and tell them to thin it. Then just get some layers around your face and I think it would look good. I think it would be better straight, but if you want to curl it without a curling iron, you can use rollers or if you want it wavy, you can braid it at night and sleep with wet braided hair, then take out the braids in the morning.

You should go get some layers cut into it to take some weight off. Explain to the stylist you want to keep the length, though. I really think that'll help a lot with the poofy part. Try rolling it around Velcro roller, BIG ones, after a shower, and let it dry naturally or help it with a blow dryer on low. This will take a while, but if you want curls without an iron.... or you could put your hair in big, low, loose braids after a shower and take them down the next morning.

it looks like the frizz is from breakage from an old, damaged brush or from using a brush on wet hair, or from ripping through your tangles.

to curl it without a curling iron will be difficult unless you have a bonnet dryer.

i can curl hair (someone else's - not my own - my arms aren't that flexible) with a flat iron.

rollerset it and spray with conditioning setting lotion and go under a hot dryer for about 45 minutes. once it's dry, finger comb it and scrub the rollermarks out with your fingers if you have any.

I'm getting a hair cut TOMORROW and I still can't decide what to do... people say 'side fringe and layers', but there're so many kinds of side fringes I'm not sure!

And my last attempt at layers made my hair curlier on one side since one side was layered...

This summer I have lost 10 pounds and since 8th grade I have lost 45 pounds. I want to look good for back to school. I have really long curly hair, I'm tan. I want to get a new haircut and some new wardrobe. I have a big chest and small hips though. Does anyone have any ideas?

You could always get your hair layered a bit, just to add some flare. I think it would (more than likely) look good.

Skinny jeans are apparently in right now, but so are tiered skirts. Dresses are *always* in, because they're timeless and adorable. I guess what you could do in order to make sure you fit the styles for where you're at is to look through catalogs for the local shops in your area.

Just wear something that you're comfortable in, and you'll look wonderful.

Hey i was thinking, you could leave hair as is but maybe just have the side fringe cut again. If you were to have a different style it could be a lot of hard for you to upkeep it. Since you are 14 you may not have loads of time to keep styling it every day. You could get pretty hair accessories-anything that represents your personality. You can change the accessories from week to week without the hassel.

For the spots use clearsil every day to wash face with and use a spot cream or a gel barrier cream on the spots every evening before you go to bed. They will clear up by themselves.

Makeup- Because you have tanned skin brown eyes etc i think a bright green eye shadow would look really great. It will bring out your brown eyes. Also for a natural look you could just use a glitter eye pencil on your eye lid and then keep your lips a neutral colour. My friend does this who has the same kind of hair as yours as well tanned skin and brown eyes! She always looks beautiful.

I have the same hair type as you! I usually us Tresemme styling mousse to wear it wavy. Just apply it to wet hair and let it air dry. You don't want to blow dry it because it might get frizzy.

step 2) towel dry your hair so it is damp and put anti frizz creme in

what you want to do in order not to get curls and end up with some nice waves like the girl in the picture is to NOT USE THE CURLING IRON LIKE INTENDED...forget the curling iron has the clamp and just wrap the hair around the barrel (kind of like if you were using a long hot tick, which is pretty much all a curling iron really is)...its best if you flip the curling iron upside down because you'll end up holding the ends of your hair at the edge of the curling iron so be careful not to get burned. it looks better if you dont add hair spray because it wont look as stiff so i would try using a curl boosting spray followed by a finishing spray when i finish.

4. you can buy a diffuser for your hair dryer and add some curling mouse to your hair then use the diffuser when you dry your hair...heres a link of what they look like...

ok....heres many suggestions...read all of them!!

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.

then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......

and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.

and as for just regular hairstyles, i would try sidebangs or whispy bangs instead of thick ones......dont know about the cut i might have to see the shape of your face, sry....

you can also do buns, because they are pretty in, or low pigtails, but you might be a little old for them, but my sister in college looks cute in them so i dont know.....

as for hairbands, very cute and in!!! definitely!!!

u could wear your hair half-up, leaving your bangs down.....

Okay, so I have naturally curly hair and I'm just learning on how to use a diffuser. The thing is I dont always have time to leave my hair dry curly. I style it usually, by putting this styling things anti frizz conitioner and twirling around my finger. When it dries, it looks really nice. But I tried using a diffuser with mousse and my hair just went all over the place. It looked fried(yes it is abit damaged). See, I want some curls to *stick together* and not be all *apart*. How would I use a diffuser to keep curls together?

Choose lowest heat option you can, don't use diffuser close to head, and use a thicker styling product. Towel-dry and squeeze hair together as you put styling aid in. Let it dry a little as you put your makeup on, and use the diffuser to fluff and knock extra wetness out. Don't dry it all the way dry.

If you mean with electric straighteners, gel will probably make it go lank and greasy. Wetting will probably make it curl again. If it's permanently straightened it should be OK.

Hair help please! I'm desperate!?

I have a short croppy hair do because of a bad straightener that melted my hair. I got depressed and got great lengths extensions from above my ears down (not on the top or bangs). My bangs were short and are now down to my eyebrows and the top seems to be growing too. I'm able to dry and style that no problem, but the extensions are another story. If I blowdry and use a curling iron or flat iron all over, they look okay (or if I pull them back in a barette), but if I just dry and brush - total frizz and see-through thinness. They're layered and naturally curly to match the top of my hair, but they are harder to style than ANY hairstyle i've EVER had. I tried letting them dry out this morning. I got tired of waiting and blowdried once they were almost dry, and they were still frizzy and yuck. They won't airdry - they just stay wet looking in little clumps. I hate being so vain and having to style these things with heat tools every day. Is that crazy?? Anyone have these too?

Try a texturizer. It constists of the same chemical as a relaxer but you just leave it on for a shorter time period (depending on the texture of your hair and how long it takes to transform it to a softer curl pattern) His hair is very nice and it's naturally like that so it won't be exact but you can definitely get pretty close. All this chemical does is loosens up the curl you already have and make your hair more manageable. Please see a professional cosmetologist.

I would recommend that you get a flat iron with ceramic, tourmaline plates. They may cost more, but it will last longer than the ones with metal plates. You could also use a pressing comb,depending on where you live and what activites you are involoved in it should last a week or two.
