I have a hair ? for halloween?

ok im going 80's style for halloween i have a jean skirt and im going to cut a white t-shirt with a black sports bra showing with black leg warmers and black ballet flats with bangles necklaces and hoop earrings

SEE I HAVE NATURALLY CURLY BROWN HAIR I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY HAIR FOR HALLOWEEN THATS EASY ON MY TYPE OF HAIR

THANKS HAYLEY

I have a hair ? for halloween?

you can straighten it then put a bump in the front if you know how to then just put it in a high side pony tell using a scruchie =] if that helps. i dont know if i explained it the best

I have a hair ? for halloween?

crimp it!!

I have a hair ? for halloween?

use a real scrunchy the ones that were popular in those days and put side bangs of any sort in that scrunchy off to the side.

I have a hair ? for halloween?

80's hair style dictates that they higher your bangs the hotter the hair. Plain and simple, get a ton of extra firm hair spray and do it up!!

Hair cut and style help?

I have hair that is thick wavy and just just about to my shoulders. I would really like the cut that Rihanna had in her Unfaithful video (not her new short look), it's really layered with fringe-y bangs and it looked good curly or straight-unless one was a wig! How would you describe that to a hairdresser I've tried finding photos but they are all showing her new hair cut! Would this style work on my type of hair? Also my color is strawberry blonde and wanted to know what highlights/lowlights would look good. Or what about subtle red streaks? Thanks everyone.

Hair cut and style help?

for pics try photobucket....type in rihanna unfaithful brings up one that is kind of fuzzy, but they got a ton of pics!

celebs have wigs extensions and lots of other tricks. her face is heart shape and you have to keep in mind that face shapes really play a part if a certain style will work for you among other facial features.

i would describe it has a heavy side swept bang, angled around the face, very long layered-very textured...everyone has a different describe of blonde and layered so if you can find a pic of layers you like and then layers you don't, same with the bangs....

light strawberry red would look amazing and some carmeal color would really add some amazing depth to your cut but that too depends on your skins undertones/eyes. i do hair so i really try to take in account for everything clients dislikes and likes. of course i want my client to be happy but i want her to feel amazing, gorgeous, and sexy! if you add a pic it may help...i think the style would work for you and your hair type

Girls: Style Tips for a Man? See My Picture?

Ok, so basically it's like this. I'm single and 18, college with a major in Acting in the fall if I can get aid, but for the summer I'd like to maybe meet a couple new girls, but I don't really know anyone in my town because I went to a school 45 miles away, so I don't meet girls easily. Not a lot of job opportunities here either, so that won't do me much good when it comes to meeting girls. I'm thinking maybe changing my style a bit would help. While I hate the idea, I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions may be helpful. Maybe a hairstyle change, or clothing style? I have naturally curly hair that is currently styled like James Dean/James Franco since it's easy and unique. I'm a blue jeans, cowboy boots, t-shirt under collared shirt kind of guy who wears leather racing jackets when it's cold. I'd like some style tips from girls since they are my intended audience. On MySpace my URL after the "/" is therebelwithoutacause

Any help would be hot. Thanks =]

Girls: Style Tips for a Man? See My Picture?

From your pictures on Myspace you look hot, don't change a thing about your appearance, just be more confident, become friends with lots of girls and see where it goes. Maybe one of them will be able to help you with your appearance if you still want a change.

Girls: Style Tips for a Man? See My Picture?

How about keeping your style and finding something you can do outside to get yourself some exposure?

Smiling and being polite do help.

What type of hair style do guys like better?

What type of hair style do guys like better?

What type of hair style do guys like better?

I'm a guy, I like straight better since it can really show your cute face ^^

What type of hair style do guys like better?

your natural style

if you're born with curly, go curly, if you're born with straight, go straight

What type of hair style do guys like better?

its funny you asked that, we were just discussing it this morning (a ew friends while out shopping) - and the conclusion was that - guys like playing with your hair - so anything that they can run their fingers through - nothing too done up (unless offcourse for the right occasions), but on day to day basis - I think they much prefer us to not over do it or tie it too tightly - guys, please correct me if I am wrong - I also really want to know ;-) - yeah, but i think its flowy, windswept hair, that they can play with, is what they like....

How to do my hair?!?! HELP!?!?

my hair is reallyreally curly and gets SO frizzy! what are some good products/styles that I could try? I'm tired of looking like a little girl, and I don't like straightening it...

thanks so much

How to do my hair?!?! HELP!?!?

Hi. Take a look at these websites:

www.curls.biz

www.honeyfig.com

www.longlovelylocks.com

www.kinky-curly.com

www.devacurl.com

www.janecartersolution.com

www.curljunkie.com

www.curlicious.com

www.sistasplace.com

www.blendedbeauty.com

www.aubreyorganics.com

There's more, but I dont know them. Theyre out there though. I buy from these websites from time to time because they have less chemicals/more natural based/100% natural. They work for my hair. You should read the faqs and hair care tips on the websites.

Here are some curly hair tips:

1. Only apply shampoo to scalp 1x/week. Shampoo is very harsh and can be drying, which is why you never apply to hair. Lots of people dont know that.

2. If you wash often, use conditioner to rinse out dirt from hair. Its called a condition rinse.

3. I braid my hair before I wash it so it wont be tangled and have less frizzies. If my hair is tangled, I put conditioner in my hair to soften it and then proceed to braid into big loose braids. I apply shampoo to scalp, wash out. DONT RUB HAIR AGGRESSIVELY OR YOU WILL CAUSE TANGLES AND FRIZZ. Then I take down a braid, apply conditioner, smooth and fingercomb (if you use a comb, use a wide tooth comb), then braid back. I do this to all other braids and squeeze braids gently to wash out, with water of course.

4. NEVER USE A TOWEL TO DRY HAIR! It'll tangle it. I just squeeze some water out, but while still wet, I apply a curling custard cream to each braid or section of my hair. If hair starts to dry, spritz with some water. When I finish, I spray some leave-in conditioner in my hair and let air dry, whether in the braids or with my hair out. If you leave your hair out when applying the products, scrunch and flip hair over, flip back. Once my hair air dries, it has cute curls (wavy look with the braids taken out).

5. Deep conditon your hair with heat 1x/weekly or 2x/month. This will keep your hair healthy.

6.Tie your hair down at night to keep your curls and for the next day to 2 days, you can just spritz hair with water and some leave-in conditioner, some moisturizing cream, shake and go. Its that simple.

Hope this helps. God bless.

Buy a good straightner and straighten it

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

I have semi curly hair and it annoys me because I can't do the style I want b/c of that. So I want to straighten it. But do you think it's weird for a guy to do that?

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

not these days hunny haha if you asked like a bunch of guys im sure youd find some who do strighten their hair... :) and if you like the way it makes your hair look then go with it!

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

extremely

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

If that's the look you want that's fine, as long as it isn't obvious. In my opinion though, people usually look better with their natural hair type.

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

I don't think that it is weird or feminine but it is Pimpish

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

its cute wen a guy changes his hair

do it

but people will make fun of u for about 2 days then they will stop

but the girls will ike it

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

not at all!!!! when guys get their hair styled thats what most of them do. Its not femenine or weird at all. Especially when the haircut is masculine and short. So no u have nothing to worry about

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

I wouldn't limit hair straightening to females. If you want to try it, go for it.

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

NO IT IS NOT FEMININE MEN DO ALOT OF THINGS TO THIER HAIR CAUSE THEY WANT TO LOOK GOOD TOO THEY WOULD LIKE NEW HAIRSTYLES JUST LIKE GIRLS SO U GO FOR IT AND BE PROUD!!!

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

i don't think it is..i actually think it looks pretty cute:)

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

no i do it everyday.

though i do have gay/metro yelled at me across the hall every day. heh.

but w/e if you do it everday no one will know you do.

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

No, it is not. In today's era and in the united states, people have too many stereotypes that they make judgment with. Many also don't appreciate people who differ from the norm (understatement).

straitening your hair does not in itself make one feminine. Any one who says otherwise... although common, I don't really have an accurate term for.

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

that depends on how long it is. if it touches your shoulders i think it would be a little feminine of a style. but i have naturally curly hair too, and if you want to commit to doing that everyday know that not only is it damaging, but it takes a lot of work and at least like, 20 mins. maybe less if you have less curly hair.

but no, its not bad-i mean look at all these heterosexual celebs like the one who's dating vanessa hudgins-i'm sure he doesnt wake up like that. society just likes to label things "feminine" or "masculine." do what you want. and remember-beware of the rain/humidity!!

Is it weird/feminine for a guy to straighten his hair?

of course not! i think its kinda hot for a guy to do that ; ]

Guys only-what kind of style do you like in women's clothing and hair? What do you like your lad

Do you prefer skirt or pants?

Coororate clothes or casual?

Any colors you notice?

Long hair or short?

Curly hair or straight?

Blonde, brunette, or redhead?

Guys only-what kind of style do you like in women's clothing and hair? What do you like your lady to wear?

I prefer my girl(s) to be very feminine, so I would have to go with skirts and dresses because it is WAY sexier when they show off their legs.

Guys only-what kind of style do you like in women's clothing and hair? What do you like your lady to wear?

Well i prefer a girl with a 70's look. A red sweater ontop of a white shirt with an exaggerated collar. A Skirt would be nice but nothing trampy looking; likei t goes down to their knees. I also prefer a girl with a long straight brunette, but thats just me

Broken hair!?!?!?!?

im 14 and am going to high skool this year... i wanna look kool and stuff... in i think 6th grade i got a relaxer in my naturally REALLY curly and think hair... it waz fine and took away sum volume of my hair, but in the front, my hair as sum ppl call it, broke... it looks like i have bangs, but they stand up... im gonna start to straighten my hair to make it easier 4 me, but i waz wondering if there r any good styles to have with bangs that r not really long... ( like a centimeter over my eyebrows or sumthin like that)... pictures or very good descriptions r accepted... thanx:-)

Broken hair!?!?!?!?

once youve washed your hair brush it hgouh once and add your relaxer. make sure its not a very strong..chemical wise. you dont want to dry your hair out. your hair is at its weakest when its been wet so brush it through when its dry. its the best time. you cant do much until they grow put really. avoid head bands because they kink the hair. just add a good leave n conditioner. straightening ur hair will only dry it out.. and youll soon notice that ull have more and more bangs. so less is always better when it comes to heating tools. be careful. a soft look is a more attractive look. curls are in. so take care of them. youll look just fine dont worry

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

Most of them subject their hair to much chemical damage by straightening or relaxing. Why do they do it, when they can just leave it as it is and enjoy what God gave them? Curly, voluminous hair looks good on them. They could leave it loose or tie it up or style it in numerous ways, keeping the same texture. Why do they ruin the beauty of their unique hair? Fine, straight hair is very common amongst westerners and easterners. Asians, Europeans and even those from the middle-east have it, only differering in the thickness factor.

Some Africans even dye their hair blond, making themselves look so fake. The light hair just doesn't go with their skin tone. Why do they do this to themselves?

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

I don't think it is a matter of people not being true to themselves. There are several reasons why African Americans relax their hair. Some are the influence of western society, we have to admit the commericials of showing a woman with long straight hair has been a sign of beauty. I'm sure this is an influence. Also African American hair is hard to manage but not impossible with the right education and products. Going natural for many believe that they are limited to afros, braids and twists.

Instead of thinking of them as not being true to theirselves think of it as a person expressing thier own individuality.

Just as a caucasion person would perm for the curl effect, bleach, or dye; you don't think that they are not being true do you. No, you would only see it as an expression of themselves.

Remember Bo Derek and the fashion trend of braids among caucasians?

Lastly, hairstyles usually come and go like any fashion. Right now we are seeing a re-birth in the African American community of natural hair and many different styles.

No one owns any one style or color. There are millions of ways for all of us to express ourselves and many find that in a jar. ~~~smiles~~~.

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

It's a good question. The natural look is better.

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

Maybe living in a western world, these African women feel like they need to have straight or blonde hair to fit in. I do admit I think they look extremely more beautiful with their natural hair, but I guess you should just live your life knowing that these people arent being true to themselves.

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

Our hair takes a lot of time and commitment, for some people it's just easier to have it straight. i wanted a perm for awhile but I'm glad I didn't get one I love my hair natural(my bf likes it too, he's half-white half spanish) it's a symbol of my culture as far as dyeing of our hair goes, some black women look good with it, some don't. Our hair is very versaitile and we can do lots with out all the chemicals but like i said it goes back to convience.

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

How many European-descent women dye their hair and get perms?

Women like to try different looks. No one (or very few, anyway) women seem to be entirely happy with the hair that they have.

Have YOU ever cut, curled, colored or styled YOUR hair? Why?

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

Because they see Beyonce, Lil Kim, Janet Jackson and many other African American women on TV with different types of hair. On them it looks good, on most African American women, it just looks stupid. It's like a caucasian trying to sport an afro or braids, it just doesn't work unless your famous. And don't get me started on the nails..

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

don't tell me!? i don't know!

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

the known about african women that they love new loks as i am one of them i know

they love to look new and different in nature they always want to change the types of hairs or colour does not matter only the good attractive look.for them it is not ruining.

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

its because natural hair is VERY hard to manage. cuz u cant put an afro in a pony tail. relaxers were originally intended to make the hair more manageable, but people started to get out of hand with it, and now they have relaxers that are the ones you see today. i prefer braids because relaxers are too strong for my hair. they damage my hair.

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

I believe that perhaps many people don't care for their hair naturally because they have not properly learning how to. I am sure with dedication and time everyone could find natural ways to care for themselves. I have a lot of clients who are African women from all over the world, especially USA and Canada.

Here is a forum cattering to black women on keeping your hair natural. I am a half guyanese women myself.

Why don't most African women keep their hair natural?

African American women straighten their hair for the same reason that women of every other race who have tightly curled hair straighten their hair - to make the hair more manageable. There is nothing wrong with curly hair, I personally think it can be beautiful if it is taken care of. White women, white men, Asian women, etc. who have curly hair often straighten it to make it easier to deal with. If you don't believe me look at this website:

http://www.leresh.com/before_after.php

As of this date there are 33 pictures showing people who have gotten their hair thermally reconditioned (which is a form of chemical straightening), and as far as I can tell from the photos, only two are black. The rest are Caucasian women and one Caucasian man.

If you click on each photo, you will see a before and after picture showing each person, what their hair looked like before and after getting it straightened.

For example:

http://www.leresh.com/slide3.php

http://www.leresh.com/slide28.php

http://www.leresh.com/slide11.php

http://www.leresh.com/slide30.php

And so on.

As you can see, it is not just African Americans who choose to straighten their hair. Curly and nappy hair occurs in every race, more frequently than most people realize, and some choose chemical treatments as a way to deal with their curly hair.

I've written a book about dealing with African American hair naturally, without chemicals. For information visit http://www.black-hair-growth.info

Hairstyle help, please.?

All right, the avatar pic is pretty descriptive of my hairtyle: long, black, and straight as an arrow. I have naturally VERY curly hair and flat iron it every few days to keep the frizz down and to keep it straight, blah blah blah.

I would like help from you ladies (and maybe gentlemen) out there as to how to style my hair a specific way. I would like those wavy body curls. I really don't know how to achieve this. When I use a hot curling iron, the curls just fall out. I am mixed with black and white and my hair's texture is that of an Asian person's (I was told this by a Korean hair stylist). I am willing to do anything short of a hair transplant. I'd appreciate any advice you have. I'm going out tomorrow night and would like to debut my hair style then.

Again, any suggestions would be so great!

How can I style my curly and dry hair?

My hair stand is thick and unruly. It looks dull due to it's driness.

How can I style my curly and dry hair?

Well first of all you should use hot oil treatments to make it softer and/or sometimes use hair conditioning masks. My hair is very wavy and used to be very dry. No matter how I styled it my hair still didn't look very good but after deep conditioning and much care I just let it dry naturally and it looks fine. If you use a lot of heating products on it maybe slack off some. Also there are clarifying shapoos you can use to remove product build up and make you hair less dull. As far as styles you could use velcro rollers. Hope this was somewhat useful for you and good luck! =)

How can I style my curly and dry hair?

Wash with shampoo, condition and leave it in for 5 mins with some cling wrap over it to moisturise the hair..then rinse. To style, if you have shoulder length hair, try to get a little bit on one side at the front and twist it, secure with a pin, then ont he other side, do the same. End result, moisturised hair, up at the front, curly at the back ... nice :)

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

I have my hair cut right at my shoulders. Everytime I curl my hair, it drops so much and disappears within like an hour or 2. I use hair spray. I have used some products, but none seem to help much. I have bangs, too. Maybe instead of something curly, can someone suggest cute styling ideas? I need something new. My hair is just way naturally straight. I need something new besides just down. Thanks!!!

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

Haha I have the same kind of hair - curls will never stay in.

I did try steam curlers once (I always use a curling iron) and it seemed to stay for about 6 hours with a whole lot of hairspray. I put them in about 5-6 hours before I had to take them out. It'll probably work for you.

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

all you have to do ( atleat with my hair) blow-dry your hair straight and put moose or soemthing in it before and your hair should hold curls a little longer

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

go to seventeen.com, they have good styling ideas for differnt types of hair texture

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

try scrunching your hair. get your hair wet, then comb it, then towel dry it. use hairspray, a specific scrunching gel, or gel, and starting from the bottom up, lift up your hair into a ball and squeeze it. this should create waves.

or crimp. very straight hair should crimp

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

Hey girl try scrunching your hair with gel and hairspray....just after you get out of the shower when you hair is still damp.......just grab it and mess it up flipping it and run gel all through it and then smash it together from the bottom to the top.........then spray it to make it stay in place......it looks casual...or formal...............or try just curling it the night before and sleep in rollers that helps you hair to have a whole lot longer to set up and hold the curl.....also try spraying just a spritz of hairspray on each roller before you curl it..........that works really well and holds the whole next day...I know I have thin hair..that dosent' hold any curl....

GOOD LUCK!!!

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

well i would try mousse and then blow drying your hair or putting setting gel on it and put it up in hot rollers...using setting gel and mousse should do the trick

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

try mousse..... i have naturally curly hair i use a low hold because i don't need it but if you get a strong hold it might work. i use it to make my hair not so frizzy but it might work for you if you use a strong hold.

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

There are so many wonderful styles these days for straight hair that I wouldn't spend the time and money trying to make yours do something it doesn't want to do. If you don't want to wear it straight down, try pulling it back and holding it at the nape of your neck with a pretty clasp or barrette. Or pull it high on your head, hold it with a band and then turn the ends under and pin them in place. Buy some cute barrettes and bands and experiment with different ways to secure it in back.

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

I know exaclty what you mean!!! My hair is the same! ( So are our pics :) I have to go to the stylist anytime I want to curl my hair and she always has to put gel in it first then curl it then spray it. It's such a pain. The only real releif I have found is to not worry about the texture (what I can't control) and just play with the color (what I can control). My hair is naturally blonde, so instead of trying to use highlights, I use low lights. I put streaks of black all through out my hair, then when I got tired of that I took them out and now I have the whole bottom half of my hair dyed black. It's actually really cool and this way I don't have to worry about it falling out or anything.

It's kind of hard to tell you how else you could style it because we all have different shaped faces, and without seeing yours it's almost impossible to tell you how you would look.

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

I know what you are saying I have had straight hair all my life.I tried perms but they just dried out my hair and gave me split ends.Try this.....go back and look at pictures of yourself when you were a young child.Look at the color and style. Now go on-line and do a search for hairstyles, when you find a site that has styles you like copy and paste them so you can print them out.Take your top four to your hairstylist and ask which one would be best for your hair texture and face shape. If you have a good hairstylist then they will help you achieve that hairdo.I also have bangs but my hair is very fine and in this heat goes flat no matter what I do.Mine is short but I'm growing it out so that I can wear it up.Try using the many hair accessories out there and put it up with clips or scrunchies, even colored elastic bands going from the top of your head to the ends of your hair like a pony tail-french braid thing. Experiment and have fun!!!!!!!!!

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

If hairspray does not work. Even though it may sound gross try it any way . Take a raw egg and separate the yolk from the white.Take the raw egg white and add a little gel mix the 2 up . It gets really sticky . so use immediatly in your hair. This will replace the hair spray all though it won't hert to finish buy spraying a little hair spray after .

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

Use elmers glue

My hair won't hold curls!!!?

i have the same problem and sponge rollers work really well, just wear them over night with spray them with hairspray before you go to bed and in the morning when u take htem out.

What salons in the atlanta area offer free cut and styles for locks of love donations?

This will be the third time I donate my hair to locks of love. They used to post a list of salons that gave a discount/incentive for donation and they don't any more. The first stylist I went to is no longer listed and the second salon did not impress me. I realize that haircuts aren't necesarily free, but i know there must be people out there who are comitted to helping potential donators. I love donating whenever possible (usually takes me about 2 years to grow 10 inches) but I can't afford an expensive haircut and I need someone who knows what they're doing to help my crazy curly hair *Not* look like a puff ball when it's cut!

What salons in the atlanta area offer free cut and styles for locks of love donations?

Please do NOT donate your hair to "Locks of Love". They are a complete scam ! Check out give.org's take on them:

http://www.give.org/reports/care2_dyn.as...

Locks of love made only 113 wigs in an entire year, they SELL the majority of the hair received (for extensions) and they do not allow for independent auditing of their financial records. Who knows where the money from selling hair really goes to, somebody's pocket perhaps ?

A lot of hair doesn't even make it Locks of Love, type in "human hair ponytail" on EBay and look at all those listings. That hair is being sold to hair fetishists.

If you don't mind your hair ending up on Paris Hilton's back or sold to a pervert though ....... go ahead and "donate"

If you don't like your hair curly, use a ceramic plated straightener. They leave your hair silky and straight without any dryness.

For medium waves, apply mousse to hair and, using a barrel brush, wrap sections of your hair around it. Then blow dry for 5 seconds. This should give you light bouncy curls.

You could always layer your hair as well.

Help for shoulder length curly hair?

I also suffer with this problem! If you want straight smooth hair you should part your damp hair into 4 sections from crown to nape and side to side and start in the bottom corner apply smoothing product brush through and then tightly wrap your hair around your head brushing it smoth and pin securely when you run out of hair. Repeat with remaining sections and cover with head tie or cap and goodnight. In the morning unwrap and you will have frizz free straight hair.

Help for shoulder length curly hair?

I have the same problem and what I do is I shower in the morning (or if I don't have time, I just rinse my hair to get it wet) then I put in mousse for curly hair, not for volume, then I blow dry my hair upside down with a diffuser and it works every time. Also if you don't already have layers, you should definitely get them, and if you're having trouble finding a product that works, then go to a salon and ask!

Good luck!

Help for shoulder length curly hair?

Stop using mousse, and do not go to bed with it wet. There is a wonderful product called Bio Silk. It's a little expensive but well worth it. Towel dry your hair well, then use just a little throughout your hair, then use a blow dryer on high heat but a lower setting with a diffuser if you want it curly. Use hot rollers if you want it wavy, or a good flat iron if you want it straight. No more mousse or sleeping with a wet head!

Help for shoulder length curly hair?

I to have shoulder length hair so this is what I do:Use MANE_N_TAIL shampoo and conditioner AND a TEA TREE OIL TREATMENT

A TEA TREE OIL TREATMENT:buy tea tree oil from Walgreen's and apply to hair after washing. Then put a shower cap on your hair and leave on for 15 minutes. Then, blow dry your hair. (MANE_AND_TAIL shampoo is sold at Walgreen's also.

Help for shoulder length curly hair?

well i suggest taking a shower in the mornings and towleing driening ur hair then putting moose or gel in it to control the frizz and scrunch it and just let it air dry or if u want straight hair take a shower blow dry ur hair or u can take a shower at night and let ur hair dry overnight but its not as managable that way then straighten it but first put hair serum in ur hair then straighten it and when ur finished u can put spray to keep the frizzys away well i hope this helped

Help me with my hair!?

I have fine thin hair that was ruined by a straightener and had to be chopped short. It's growing, but is still breaking and seems so thin to me. I have to wash and dry daily just to get it to do anything at all. The texture is soft and fine and it won't hold a style unless I wash or wet daily. What shampoos and conditioners would be the least damaging since I have to wash daily? Also, if I don't wash daily, my head itches and flakes and after about 2 to 3 days of the same shampoo, this happens too. I just really want my hair to grow back in curly and fuzzy like it used to be - at least it had fluff. I've tried going without washing for a day but it itches and looks bad and I end up miserable and depressed. And, it's so fine I've always had to blowdry, since puberty. I'm in my mid thirties now and am caucasion. Thanks for your help.

Help me with my hair!?

I would use a shampoo and conditioner from a salon not the store that is for chemically treated hair that is till it grows out. And all the hair that has been straighten has been cut off. Some I would suggest are Biolage Hydrating shampoo or Fortiflying shampoo and Conditoner. Or Tigi Oatmeal and Honey shampoo and Conditioner, Joico K-pak shampoo and Conditioner. There are several you could use just find you a stylist and talk to them and they will give advice on the one that is best for your hair. And once a week you could use a deep conditioner on your hair like Biolage conditioning Balm. But I would just keep it trimed about every 6 weeks till you grow all the bad ends off. And it will start looking better over time. I have baby fine hair also and I am a hairstylist with many years experiance.

Help me with my hair!?

You should ask someone to check if any thing is wrong phyisically- but i don't think that a straightner can do that much damage, since it only effects the hair on the outside- not the roots. Did you do something to make it thin? Maybe it's just the way your body was going to work

Help me with my hair!?

you need hairapy! at least that's what the commercials say... what is that, sunsilk or something? they have TONS of stuff for special hair needs!

Help me with my hair!?

maybe use a thickening shampoo....like the garnier one

Cute semi-casual hairstyles?

im looking for a cute hairstyle. I have curly hair like mid back length. Does anyone know any cute beach braids, or curly styles? beach braids are hot. lol. Links or refrences please? thanks

Cute semi-casual hairstyles?

As for styling, you can make a sophisticated ponytail by wearing it low, wrapping a section of your hair around the elastic and securing it with a pin. You can also use a ribbon for a touch of whimsy.

Hair bands are in this season. Plain thin ones are very classic. Or you can use a scarf for a retro '60s look. You can embellish plain ones with hot glue and buttons or beads for a casual or evening look.

You can make your hair into a neat bun. For a plain but finished look, pin down strays w/ hair pins that have tortoise shell on one side. (Goody makes them.) For a dressier effect use hair pins w/ pearls or rhinestones.

For a casual look, make a messy bun or chignon.

You can braid your hair %26amp; wear the braid down. Or you can loosely braid your hair %26amp; create a bun.

BTW, you can braid your hair after shampooing and let it dry. Take out the braids and you'll have a loose wave/crimp that's perfect for a beachy, summer look.

Allure %26amp; InStyle are really good magazines for hair style ideas.

Cute semi-casual hairstyles?

um i have the same kind of hair and its hard to find something to do with it...u can like have it in a side pony tail???french braids down ur head and stop at the bottom and put the rest in a bun..i dont know that much

Cute semi-casual hairstyles?

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.

then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......

and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.

and as for just regular hairstyles, i would try sidebangs or whispy bangs instead of thick ones......dont know about the cut i might have to see the shape of your face, sry....

you can also do buns, because they are pretty in, or low pigtails, but you might be a little old for them, but my sister in college looks cute in them so i dont know.....

and side ponytails are cute and sporty....

as for hairbands, very cute and in!!! definitely!!!

u could wear your hair half-up, leaving your bangs down.....

hope i helped!!! good luck!!!

i scrunch my hair and end up with a result similiar to this. the key to curly hair is learning to scrunch without frizzing. its a technique that took me 4 years to master!

I dont noe what to do with my hair :S?

Well you could suck it up and straighten your hair. The better the straightener, the quicker it is to do it.

You could find products to "embrace" your thick curly hair (that many women would LOVE to have). Or you could go to a good hair stylist and tell him/her that you are tired of wearing your hair up and you want something alittle more simple to take care of. Ive found (with my thick, wavy, curly, does what it wants hair) that a little bit longer than shoulder length hair cut with some long layers makes my hair lighter and easier to straighten. There is always the option of getting it professionally straightened with chemicals. Ive never gone to a salon for that, but I bought an at home kit once and it worked pretty good but I would imagine getting it done at a salon would last longer. Its all about the research.

Sometimes when I'm tired of wearing all my hair up, but I just cant take all the thickness hanging down on my neck I put my hair half up, half down. Whether it be half up in a pony, or with cute little clips, or maybe even twists. Good luck.

shave it off and tape it to your butt, i've always wanted curly butt hair....yeah thats hot!!! well thats what i would do if i had curly hair.

Hair extensions to help while damaged hair grows out?

I am so depressed about my hair. A year ago I had long naturally curly hair. It frizzed easily, but at least it was long and could be pulled back or styled. Little do me, but I started getting highlights, and got blonder and blonder and my hair got thinner and thinner. Then, I went for a permanent straightener and that put the icing on the cake. My hair broke off a lot and got so thin and stringy looking and so hard to do. It was about shoulder length by this time, so I got it trimmed about 3 times within 2 months, and then finally just got it chopped above chin level in layers real short. It has grown a minimal amount since then, but is still so thin. I have gotten opinions from various salons who state my natural curls are growing back in underneath all this damage and are about 2 to 3 inches in length underneath. The damaged hair is about chin length and layered up. It's so hard to style this mess. It's longer in the back than the sides. I cry and mope all the time and

Hair extensions to help while damaged hair grows out?

Cutting may not be the answer because your hair does not grow from the ends up it is from the root. Getting rid of damaged hair helps keep the nutrients and vitamins in. Also it helps keep your hair looking healthy. However, if you do not want to go near bald, and if that look is not the right one for you then go for the extensions. I have plenty of friends with extensions. What are you fearing? What do you have to loose? In the event that is doesn't work out then you can cut it. The hair that is damage dcan not get any worse.

Girl I've messed up my hair bad before too, and I let it grow out until it was at a good length, then I decided to cut the bad part off. I would use alot of deep conditionning and also the Emergencee from Nexxus. Sorry this happened to you. Remember just look at your roots and not the ends so that you don't get all desperate and want to chop it off, unless you are ready for the cut.

Hair extensions to help while damaged hair grows out?

you should just get a shorter cut, i mean short cut and style that until it grows out again

Hair extensions to help while damaged hair grows out?

Yes get your hair cut and get it cut to the length where you natural curls are growing back in. this is the healthiest hair on your head at the moment. by doing this you will eliminate all damaged ends/split ends and will further prevent even more damage if you take care of your hair. I'd stay away from the bleach and the relaxers, use flat irons from now on to straighten your hair. find a cute style that will fit the 2-3 length of healthy hair that you do have. once you get it cut like this it should grow in no time. GOOD LUCK!!! :)

Oh and use a GOOD deep conditioner every week on your hair. that is what i did with my naturally thin hair. and it is now really thick and pretty, conditioning does a lot for the hair.

Hair extensions to help while damaged hair grows out?

get it cut right off

Cute haircut styles for girls?

Hey, I need to get a new haircut tomorrow and want to change it up alittle. I have long, naturally curly hair that is in layers. I don't want it to be really short either or dye it. Could you post some really cute pictures of hairstyles?

Thanks!

Cute haircut styles for girls?

I have two websites with many cute haircuts, but I'm not sure if it's your style. Most of the styles are curly or wavy, just pick the length of hair you want and start browsing! http://www.rasysa.com/pkg/style/ and http://www.beauty-box.jp/

Cute haircut styles for girls?

ashley tisdales side bangs r cute;d

Cute haircut styles for girls?

I have the same hair as you, and I layered it

But since yours is already layered, go for side bangs, or possibly angle your hair. I'm thinking about cutting mine a tiny bit shorter

Definitely do NOT dye your hair, I've never touched my hair with any type of color and it's perfect :]

Cute haircut styles for girls?

I can't post it but if you are brown haired get blond highlights, if you are blond get your tips at the end of your hair dyed brown with a haircut to your shoulders but it looks best with strait hair so I would get a straightener.

Hope this helps!!!!

Good luck with the hair!

What is a good hair style for extra long naturally curly hair.?

I'd like to keep the length. The underside is very soft and healthy. The top where the sun hits it is fried. I'm mean its so bad it doesnt even curl. It looks like a halloween wig. I noticed it's darker than ever before since I had my son. It is about 2 foot long but remember four inches of curl will shrink to about one and a half inches. So I dont really want to go too short. Any ideas or pictures will be so appreciated. Thanks.

Help with hair T_T?

i am a guy and i style my hair with gel to get curls. the problem is that it takes too long to do! (like 15 minutes) Everytime i am getting ready to go somewhere, i am the last one to be done with my hair, lol.

i want to get my hair done faster somehow, but i dont want to cut it. i want to keep it curly. So basically i want to get my hair done faster. any tips or products i should look out for? Thanx~

Help with hair T_T?

hmmm.... the only thing i can think of to help you is buy a shampoo that helps with curling, like herbal essences curling shampoo. it helps by preparing the hair so it should cut the time. hope it helps!

Help with hair T_T?

Help with hair T_T?

Super hold get so you dont have to use as much.

Help with hair T_T?

faster hair do, means shorter hair do

Help with hair T_T?

do you have naturally curly hair??? it sounds like you don't and that is why is takes so long .... hmmm ... try putting the gel in your hair while it is wet and style as you want it. use a hairdryer on low heat and dry the curls in place. this is just a suggestion ... i have naturally wavy hair and when i want curls i just put gel in my hair and let the hair dryer do the work ... you may want to try tipping your head up side down also ( i do this) and it does help with the natural curl.. i hope this helps?!!?

What Layered Hair Style Should I Get?

I already know I am going to get my hair layered and I am pretty sure I want it curly (not to curly), but I'm not sure. Can anyone help me decide, pics are what I'm really looking for and would really help a lot. I am black and have black hair that is just barely short of my shoulders if not touching it, if it helps with finding pictures.

What Layered Hair Style Should I Get?

with curly hair, you should totally get full/parted brow-grazing/skimming bangs

Looking for a new hair colour & style -Suggestions?

My natural hair colour is a dark blonde. it's a little tinted from using a semi-permanent light brown in the summer. It's fairly wavy/curly, and long, my skin's sort of a midtone caucasian %26amp; i've got dark brown eyes.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to making it a little less boring.. i've thought about a lighter blonde maybe?

Looking for a new hair colour %26amp; style -Suggestions?

You need to post a picture for that, hairstyles depend a lot on you face shape. It might be good to look up some pictures of hairstyles to see ones that you might like then go see a hairdresser with them. A good hairdresser will be able to give you proper advice. Also talk to your friends.

Looking for a new hair colour %26amp; style -Suggestions?

Have you thought about adding some red high lights? It's definitely a bold move. But if you've been blonde for most your life, you may really enjoy the change! Talk to your stylist about it.

Looking for a new hair colour %26amp; style -Suggestions?

maybe go black or brown or midnight blue hair if you want a dramatic change. like lindsay lohan(right?)

or if not, you can go lighter or a little darker or get highlights.

for your cut, if you want to keep your hair long, maybe get magic straight and layer it.

if you want to cut it shorter, you should layer your hair from between your chin and your ear and make your length to your boobs.

Looking for a new hair colour %26amp; style -Suggestions?

that might be fun to go lighter...what about the side swept bang...I did it...and it made me look great...it's very flattering

How do I make my hair curly? (Im a guy)?

I have short hair. But I was born with natural curly hair. But right now my hair is about a 2, and is i brush it forward. So I was wondering if I let it grow out, what can I use or do to get curly hair.

What I was thinking is, since my hair doesnt spike or go back. I wanna try to get some curly style gel and try to slick it back, so it can try to spike and have the roots go backwards. By the time it gets kinda long it will be curly and grows from the back... I would like to have long curly hair that grows from the back.

Any help???

How do I make my hair curly? (Im a guy)?

That in -between stage when youre trying to grow your hair can be tricky! I think what you are thinking of doing is the best bet. Maybe, if it wont spike, use a softening cream like HIS MIX leave in conditioning cream. This should soften the hair and make it go from short to long more easily.

I need hair styling tips a-sap!!!!?

i have straight hair and i want to get those sexy, loose, not-extremely curly waves that have that victorias secret model vibe to it. can anyone give me tips on how to do this?!?!?! i would appreciate it SO much! :)

I need hair styling tips a-sap!!!!?

get a light conditioner like dove

after air or blow drying...

use a curling iron with a large diameter

use a light light hair spray

like TRESemme Tres spray

orr I loove John Freida Beach Blond Ocean waves

I'm brunette and that stuff works great on my hair

and it makes you smell like coconuts

oorrr... aussie scrunch spray

it works reallly well and looks great but the smell is strong

I need hair styling tips a-sap!!!!?

my hairstylist wife says eaither put your hair in a bun while wet and let it air dry then shake it out or buy a curling iron a big one and make loose curls with it ..

I need hair styling tips a-sap!!!!?

I unfortunately have natural curls. But I would suggest a good brand moose on damp hair then blow-dry while scrunching with your hands this is best done bent over while blowing your hair back towards your head.

I need hair styling tips a-sap!!!!?

try scrunching your hair. put gel in your hand then scrunch your hair up in a ball. this will give it a wavy effect. i use it on my hair and it looks really cool

I need hair styling tips a-sap!!!!?

I know this isn't what you're hoping for but it always makes me giggle a little, ever see " Something about Mary ". No really, have you ever tryed a body wave, a perm on fat rods, or if you don't like chemicals try those cushioned rods that you twist your hair up in when its still wet. They look like a small version of those styrofoam things that children play with in the swimming pool.

Straight, thick, hair !?

Hello. I have naturally curly, thick hair, but i usually straighten it. I need a new style that's cute, but i still want length on my hair. Are there any ideas ?

Straight, thick, hair !?

OK, so the point here is to get your hair to be cute, but not frizzy-ugly. And I'm here to help you do just that. Here's the game plan.

First, stop the straightening! You're burning your hair, which makes it frazzle. Curls/waves are in. Wear your hair naturally.

Second, you're going to get a haircut. About 4 inches below the shoulders is good, but if that sounds too short for you, get about 6-8 inches below.

John Frieda, a leader in the world of hair, has produced a line of products that閳ユ獟l make dealing with your hair a treat instead of a task. They閳ユ獟l add shine, dimension and a boost to your color. And because of the gentle nature, your hair will actually like it. First off, choose your color! Select the hue closest to your natural hair tone.

Sheer Blonde: choose from platinum to champagne or honey to caramel

Brilliant Brunette: amber to maple or chestnut to espresso

Radiant Red: redheads choose from bright and vivid to deep and rich

Next, select the following products all in the same color.

Shampoo and conditioner: If you閳ユ獧e looking for a boost of shine that also gives a silky feel, the shampoo and conditioner in the Frieda line have you covered. The Shine Release Moisturizing Shampoo and the Light Reflecting Moisturizing Conditioner are great.

Glaze: The Luminous Color Glaze is like the icing on the cinnamon roll! This gel-cream delivers a mix of mild, nonpermanent dyes, so no worries about turning some bizarre color that hangs around forever. Squeeze some on your fingertip to see the glittery look of pearl powder that閳ユΞ responsible for the multidimensional look (lights and darks).

Is it easy to use? Yes. While you閳ユ獧e in the shower, squeeze the water out of your hair, then apply Luminous Color Glaze, working it from root to tip. Then, wash your hands ASAP with soap. Leave the glaze on for three minutes, then rinse, towel dry and style as usual. Apply at least three times a week to see the color appear and intensify. How fun it that?

Side note: secure your style with a high-shine hairspray instead of one that will dull the shine you just achieved!

Straight, thick, hair !?

haha that's exactly the kind of hair i have! you can get you hair permed, and use a good shampoo- pantine is very good

unfortunetly my hair is naturally like that, so i can't really help you

Is it possible to straighten {human} wet 'n' wavy hair, and then make it wavy again?

I always buy human wet 'n wavy hair for my braid extensions. I wanted to know if I can straighten the human wet 'n' wavy hair and then wet it again and make it wavy. Is that possible, or will it stay straightened? If I wanted to alternte styles and makei it curly this day and then back to wet 'n' wavy the next, will the hair stay...c0rrect and new l0oking? How long does one wait to dye their hair after having a perm ?

my hair isn't african american style.. its more curly frizzy.. i know perms are "bad".. but sometimes i need it to tame my hair a little bit.. and make it easier to comb and whatnot..

ok so the problem is that my roots have outgrown from previous hairdying.. i haven't dyed my hair in many many months.. and i just permed it on august 26.. i was told to wait at least 4 weeks before doing other treatments on my hair.. now i really don't want to wait so long.. i prefer to dye my hair this week.. but i need your opinion..

btw i permed my own hair and i know its safe to dye your hair only if its temperarly.. but i want to dye it my own self permanently..

ok i think i wrote a little too much.. haha.. thanks in advice for all of your opinion :)

How long does one wait to dye their hair after having a perm ?

I well say you should wait at lest 4week because your hair can break from all that chemical, but if you still go ahead and dye your hair make sure you deep conditioner your hair every time you wash your hair, and use less heat as possible. Good luck

How long does one wait to dye their hair after having a perm ?

After you get a perm then you can't dye your hair. Well, you can but it will fry your hair. A person who's hair is all fried just looks bad.

How long does one wait to dye their hair after having a perm ?

They say that you should wait at LEAST two weeks before putting another type of chemical in your hair.

For some, it's a little longer.

I'd say if your hair is in good shape, just wait two weeks.

If you've got damaged hair, I'd wait at least 3 or 4.

How long does one wait to dye their hair after having a perm ?

at least 2 weeks

How long does one wait to dye their hair after having a perm ?

my hair dresser tells me to wait at least 6 weeks between dyes and perms.

How long does one wait to dye their hair after having a perm ?

hun i have a perm and i have highlights i am a natural brunetter with blonde nd caramel highlights all the way around so it look like im naturaly blonde i have been doing this 4 bout 2-3 yrs and i w8 about at least 2 wks each time i do it cuz it will be perfect!

How long does one wait to dye their hair after having a perm ?

I was in the same position, as long as your dying it darker and using a good conditioner. I did it after a week :P Im was fine! Oh and my name isnt marcus, i am a woman!

How long does one wait to dye their hair after having a perm ?

I would wait at least 3 weeks .

Cute ideas for African American Hair?

I have a foster child who is almost 2 and African American. Her hair just gets so tangled! I need some cute styles I could do that are easy and keep her hair from tangling as much! I am white so this is my first time dealing with hair this curly! Any advice would be SO helpful! Thanks!

Cute ideas for African American Hair?

Just praise the lord that u dont have that type of hair. Now u know what i have to go through.

If i were u i would cut it short and leave her with a little afro, tie a cute head band around it.

You could also braid it if u know how to do that.

Or twist it.

I like motions weightless moisturizer. Spray water/leave in conditioner to soften when necessary.

Wash once every 2 weeks.

ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS!!!!

I see some ppl here talking about washing hair 2wice a week, u cannot be serious...

Cute ideas for African American Hair?

braids with ribbons?

Cute ideas for African American Hair?

Braid it

Cute ideas for African American Hair?

u should braid it

Cute ideas for African American Hair?

Put some pink oil moisturizer on it and don't wash it everyday...more like twice a week...keep it braided or in ponytails

Cute ideas for African American Hair?

Cute ponytails would be pretty. Or a hair salon would be able to come up wit a very cute hairstyle. But, ponytails are very cute. Or, try braiding it. That will last longer.

Does anyone have any styling ideas for curly hair?

i want to have more options when i style my hair in the morning. does anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone have any styling ideas for curly hair?

you can get out of the shower and just scrunch your hair while using gel. you can maybe put a little clip in the front with a section of your hair. minimize frizz, and it will look so good.

Does anyone have any styling ideas for curly hair?

For curly hair up-dos can be great just play in the mirror, you can also straighten your hair out with ceramic irons.

Does anyone have any styling ideas for curly hair?

I have curly hair too and the only thing i do to my hair is wear it loose or in a pony tail. I need some styling ideas too閳?br>Does anyone have any styling ideas for curly hair?

Well i have naturally curly hair so i have to have hair styles ok so when your just goin out or somthin just curl it and throw it in a pony tail with some on the side, if your going some where special were some of your hair in a clip and the rest down you know theres lots of styles specially these days like how they make their hair messy that is cute try it

Does anyone have any styling ideas for curly hair?

I don't have a styling suggestion, but have a product suggestion.

I have had MAJORLY curly hair my whole life, which was a pain in the *** coming from a household of straighthaired people who tried to brush my hair straight! _OUCH_

ANyways, while mousse, and gel are great... about twice a week I put a tablespoon of straight vitamin E oil in my hair. I rub the oil in my palms and run my hands thru my damp hair with my head flipped upside down. I allow my hair to air dry... just be sure to not get too much oil near your scalp if you plan on going out for the day- we don't wanna look greasy! It gives your hair weightless curls that are so shiney! I have used this method on my friend's hair too- and it helps prevent wind damage and breakage!

If it makes a difference my hair is not overly course, but very curly and actually though there is a lot of it is fine, so the amount of oil used for your hair may need to very... start with less and work your way up!

Does anyone have any styling ideas for curly hair?

do you know how some people play with their hair and twirl it around their fingers? If you do that as you blow dry it..it'll make the curls look more uniform and spiral instead of a helemt of fuzz...using a diffuser on the dryer is better because it spreads out the air but its still hot enough to do something....the cooler settings dont do anything but waste my time...use a lil smoothing cream if your roots give you any trouble...too shine it up use a very very very lil bit of baby oil....dont use this at the roots(it'll just look dirty)...start at the bottom

What is a good style for thick voluminous hair?

I have the worst hair ever! It is thick, voluminous, frizzy, and wavy. My hair is impossible because it refuses to be completely curly or completely straight. I need an easy style that does not involve straightening or thinning. I would prefer a style that accentuates my waves, but I would appreciate any styling suggestions. Can anyone help?

What is a good style for thick voluminous hair?

In my opinion getting it layered would help. And then going regularly to have the ends cut off to keep it looking neat.

I have similar hair. It's about shoulder length and has loads of layers in it. Depending on my mood, I either just blow dry it and leave it as is, or I straighten it. I find it to be a very versatile style.

What is a good style for thick voluminous hair?

Have it thinned at the hairdressers to reduce the volume. This will help you manage it. Have it medium length and use straightening serum to calm the frizz and enhance your waves.

What is a good style for thick voluminous hair?

get some frizz ease it works I have the same problem

What is a good style for thick voluminous hair?

take a clip and pin back the top of their hair on each side. then all your hair just hangs down but you can still see your face.

What is a good style for thick voluminous hair?

Perhaps try shoulder length hair cut with layers, having layers can help reduce the thickness and give your hair good shape, also use some serum to help with the frizzy. Good luck.

What is a good style for thick voluminous hair?

Same here!!!!

For about 6 months I straightened my hair and it was great but now my hair is so dry I just take a shower then style my hair when it's wet and drown it in gel, it looks fairly normal. =/

I also had my hair thinned but it mdoesn't really make that much of a difference. sure it makes the back thinner but thats about it. still its worth it because its not that expensive.

What is a good style for thick voluminous hair?

I would ask your hairdresser to put lots of layers through it that will take the bulk out of it and give it a sleeker appearance. Having a style that is layered softly around your face might be a good idea too. I have extremely thick hair that is straight but curls right at the bottom for some reason, it's not curly enough to just wear curly the wash and leave natural sort of look but if it's straightened even if it's done in the hairdressers and lots of products used it just ends up curling on the bottom anyhow. I've had it layered and it doesn't look so thick and I just dry the bottom into flicks rather than curls, it looks trendy and stays in the style too. Have a chat with your hairdresser and there are some great hair and beauty sites on the web that can give you ideas about hair styles to choose that will suit your hair type. Hope you find a style you're happy with there's nothing worse than having a bad hair day, if you feel happy with your hair you feel more confident and good about yourself!!

I Want to Do Something Quick and Different With My Hair Tomorow, What Should I Do?

So I have curly/wavy hair that is down to my "chest" if u know what I mean, and it's dark brown with pink highlights in the front.

How should I style it for school tomorow? I have about 15 mins to fix it. By the way, I always wear it down, but I'd like it to look kinda different, either an updo or a different way when I wear it down.

Links would be helpful :D

I Want to Do Something Quick and Different With My Hair Tomorow, What Should I Do?

omg i love doing the 'lil bump in my hair take a hairclip and clip up your front hairs on each side and push the clip in front of u... its hard to explain and takes practice its worth a try.. good luck

I Want to Do Something Quick and Different With My Hair Tomorow, What Should I Do?

You could do your hair in braids and put a flower in it =)

You could do it like Amy Lee did it in her music video for "Call Me..."

Which is take a red ribbon hairband and put it in your hair. Put you hair in a ponytail and then let a few strands down in front of your face.

Cute ways to style your hair?

I have hair that goes about 3 and 1/2 inches below my shoulders. I have side bangs that go just below my eye. My hair looks good brown, blonde, red,and everything inbetween. It also looks good curly or straight. Same with volume or with being flat. It looks god pretty much anyway. My hair is also very healthy.

Can you tell me some unique ways to style my hair? I'm not cuttng it or anything. I just want some ways to put it up. I want a lot of ideas too. Something very origional.

Thanks.

10 points to the best answer!!

Cute ways to style your hair?

You could put some back in a pony tail and curl the piece down in the back...or you could candy curl it all around and pin it up

Cute ways to style your hair?

Your hair sounds alot like mine.

What I really like to do is add a fake flower to the oppsite side of my side bangs. All you need to to is bobby pin it in. You could do it when your hair is up or down. A really cute way to do it is put your hair in two french braids and add a big bright flower. It's fun and it looks really good.

What can I do about my hair?

I was born with very curly hair when I was little. Growing up my mom had me get my haircut constantly and I remember I had very, very thick hair that I hated at the time because I couldn't do anything with it.

When I was 15 I had the barber use thinning shears to try and relieve some of the thickness, it worked wonders at the time, but I really hate my hair now at 20. I can't stand the wave in my hair and it has too much volume/bounce and it looks too european/girl-ish.

How can I get my hair to be and stay completely straight/achieve "dead hair"? I can't stand the waviness to my hair it's ugly on me (imo). Plus I prefer styles associated with straight/dead hair (spiky) rather than grow it out and making it look all feminine. I can spike my wavy hair but it still doesn't look right :-(

What can I do about my hair?

I imagine you have beautiful hair.

My mother had baby-soft silky straight hair and with me being mixed, I had a combination of both. (not exactly thick and not exactly straight) Got me?

Anywhoo, we both vied for each other's hair.

I couldn't stand to hear complain and she couldn't stand to hear me complain.

I am sure that there are other's who wished they had your hair, including me.lol

When you look,at yourself, in the morning tell yourself that you love your hair and be the most EXOTIC beautiful person God made you to be.

That's an order.lol

What can I do about my hair?

Most of the people in my family (including me) have naturally curly hair. Depending on your curl, sometimes the only way to really control it is to keep it really short (I know that's not what you want to do). You could always do it yourself tho - with clippers, to keep cost down. You might try products that have "wax" in the title - they're usually a little stronger. And definitely try to keep just enough length so you can make it spikey without giving way to the waviness (although then you're still going to get into a frequent cutting situation again). Not sure what stores you have at the mall but a place like Regis, Trade Secret, or maybe even mastercuts or supercuts should have some reasonable product options. Just tell the person working there what you're trying to do. Naturally curly hair is both a blessing and a curse I think :-)

What can I do about my hair?

Just let it grow out man and see how it looks on you? You might actually like it and keep it for a while. Having longer hair doesnt make you feminine if your sure about yourself and your masculinity.

I have sort of frizzy.. tangally..strait hair.. how do i style it?

and i want it sort of like beachy waves (not curly with a curling iron). how can i turn my hair into that...?

I have sort of frizzy.. tangally..strait hair.. how do i style it?

french braid/ regular braid it right before going to bed (damp hair works really well, cause dry hair doesn't take shape easily) and don't open until the next morning. and that night put in defrizzing gel in, and don't brush it! it'll turn really curly and frizzy. just keep it the way it is, it's gonna look really cute. i do that alll the time. :] (the smaller the curls, the more braids you do. if you want large ones, do one huge braid. ta daaa!)

I have sort of frizzy.. tangally..strait hair.. how do i style it?

idk plz email me when u figure it out thanx good luck

I have sort of frizzy.. tangally..strait hair.. how do i style it?

use moose and some hair spary

hold a mass of hair in ur hand and rub it around

and den ull have beachy curls

I have sort of frizzy.. tangally..strait hair.. how do i style it?

try putting some smoothing creme in it and letting it partially dry up in a pony then put some curl gel in it and diffuse it. or if you don't want to use an iron you could use rollers or twirl your hair up and let it dry with bobby pins. it all kind've depends on the length of your hair, but good luck!

I have curls?

what are some hairstyles i can do ? My Hair isnt water fall curls or the stringy little curls mine is like in the middle i want some new hot hair styles for my new year in high school I use curly shampoo 2 so if you have any cute hairstyles im me at blemonyb@yahoo.com or give me a site!

I have curls?

you could do corn rolls in the front and let the back be curly. it would look really nice

I have curls?

The site at bottom is good for all your hair needs and styles. Try to enhance your curls by after you take a shower scrunch your hair with your towel then apply some mouss鑼?and scrunch then blowdry and you should have some managable soft curls.

Hair growth and care...?

PLEASE ANSWER ALL!!!

I know professional stylist say that washing hair everyday is a big no no and I agree, but when I do just that my hair grows like crazy! Why is that, I got over 2 inches in less than 4 months.

you can go to www.blackplanet.com/nizairh to see my hair...

Also what products are good to use on it, I like my curly look, but how do I tame it better?

I usually think I know what products work for me but I want the curls to lay down, after like 12 hours they get soo big on my head. I just want them to hang...how can I tame them better?

1 more thing if you don't mind..., on the top of my head the hair looks thin b/c it's been pulled out pretty bad.(A bun is my favorite style, I've been wearing them for years) but b/c my hair gets so big I pull it back tight so my head doesn't look 2 times it's normal size, I asked a pharmacist about prenatal pills and he says it's ok. What about men's rogain b/c it's stronger by 3%. Or something to bring it back in...THANK YOU

Hair growth and care...?

first let me say, you are a very pretty lady.(No funny stuff) (i would take that comment off about the weight, cause your not!!!!!!) ok, you have gorgeous hair. I think nexxus or keracare, which i prefer would work good for your hair. on a cheaper note. dove has the BEST moisturizing conditioner!!! Have you tried using a little mousse and diffusing the curls. Also, paul mitchell has a pomade (foaming pomade) that adds shine and would weigh the curls down a bit so they wont become poofy. NO ROGAINE. once you use it, if it works for you, you have to continue. Visit a dermatalogist about that.

Hair growth and care...?

I have'nt gone to the website yet,but I don't wash my hair everyday either, why? They say you take the natural things from your hair when you wash it everyday. If your hair grows when you wash it everyday, cool. What works for you may not work for some ppl and what works for them may not work for you.Prenatal pills are also good to use for hair, nails, and skin. And for you curls to drop so they don't look so big try steam.Sounds funny but go in the bathroom and let the hot water run and trust and believe your hair will fall right. And about the rogaine it should be alright for you to use although it's for men.Our scalp isn't that much different from a mans. And for conditioner almonds anything with almonds is excellent for your hair.

Hair growth and care...?

wash your hair according to your hair position.and style ,which is suitable for you....

Hair growth and care...?

You hair is very pretty. But I can't tell you what products to use. Your hair has it's own unique history and is different from everyone else. You have to experiment though. There are some things i can tell you being a curly head too.

You wanna watch out for mineral oil and petrolatum.

Try to use natural remedies. But to do this you have to learn about essential oils and carrier oils.
