Which Hairspray do you suggest to use for keeping hair straight?

My hair is curly and wavy at the same time and I don't like it much and I'm currently not able to get it chemically straightened so I just use a flat iron to straighten it. Some of the styles I want to put it in when it's straightened require hair spray so I've used about 5 different types of hairspray and all of them make my hair curl up. Does anyone suggest a certain hairspray to use or am I doing something wrong?

If you straighten your hair, I'd go with Dove Hairspray. It's nothing special, just the original kind.

It holds very well but doesn't make you hair super-crispy like most do.

well i think you shouldnt be using a spary because spary is for curling hair. you should use a leave in conditionar that keeps that style that you put on. that what i do.first you put the cream in your hair and leave it in for a few mintues. then you take the flat iron and you straight your hair. that should keep the straihgtness in and dthe curly out. hope i helped!

check out the sleek looks by matrix, you can get it at most salons. there hairspray works great, but you might want to check out some of there other producst too. flat ironing your hair with out a base is not good to do every day. plus it well make doing your hair a lot easier with the right products!
