well...my hair is pretty curly/wavy underneath. my hair on the top is just a little bit wavy, but kinda straight. it doesnt look good half curly half straight so i end up straightening it all the time. im getting tired of having my hair straight all the time. so........

what can i do to make my hair have natural looking waves/curls all over my hair? also, what are some good products to make my hair have soft curls or waves?

if u can, can u suggest more than one way to style my hair?

I have the same hair type as you! I usually us Tresemme styling mousse to wear it wavy. Just apply it to wet hair and let it air dry. You don't want to blow dry it because it might get frizzy.

you could just curl the top layer. or scrunch your hair. or braid it while it's wet and let the braids out when it dries. those all curl it a bit.

Well, I suggest you go for a large rodded perm. This will redefine your under curls to be larger curls and your top hair to have the curl you want!

curling serums from most of the to hair companies work well, also shampoos for curly hair from sunsilk +others work well. if you have a lot of time You can use a barrel curling iron to add waves, or you can put in some culing serum and then braid your hair when you take it out it will look like natural waves.

i have the same as you . i scrunch it sometimes. and you could braid it when its wet and take out your braids later. i do that to . you could also just curl it . that works /

kk hunny!! i have hairy situations 2 (i mean hair on da head) so u can umm scrunch it or curl it you can curl it on just da botton!! U can take a barrete and if u have like bangs or short hair clip them up!! i luv dat!! u can part it on da side just straight curled or natural w/e!! and products are ummm the naturalizer bam!! its exactley 4 dat!! u can get it at walmart!!

Well, I'm just like you. I think that you should just wear your hair curly. I'm weird with my hair though. When its wet, I wrap it around all round objects any size to shape it. You should try multi-sized curls. It always looks good. Seeing as your hair is already curly-ish, Try embracing the natural and adjust the top a little bit. :]
