Extremely thin hair - ways the style it?

since i have extremly thin hair...theres not much i can do with it to make it look good...my hair is naturally really curly too %26amp; u would think it would make my thin hair seem thicker but it dosnt at all...plus my hair dosnt grow ( has been the same length for years w/ out cutting it ) which makes it worse...anyone have any ideas??

well the reason ur hair doesnt grow is probably because you dont trim the dead ends(which can make your hair hard to grow). if you layer your hair it makes it seem more thick. but if you layer it you should flat iron it. dont use chemicals to make your hair straight(it would just thin it more)

try using a thickening shampoo! (should help out a bit)..

you can also tease it up (just the top?) to make it look fuller and thicker!

I have very thin hair also and tease it once and a while (don't do this to much or it will be damaged.. )

Try blowdrying it upside down! This makes it beautifully full and thicker too!

I think you need to really sit and look at your hair. You need to find out what it's own natural beauty is. Don't be so down on it, it sounds like you might have a really different look if you could bring it out? Try and find out what it really wants to do and help bring it out, I think you'll look fantastic and will look very different and unique! And don't think everyone else has thick hair! It's all chemicals and rollers! And CGI !

While your hair is wet blow dry it from beneath it gives it volume. Also when you do ANYTHING fancy or up use Garnier Fructis style XXL volume root booster and massage into hair it makes it look thicker

Lucky you. I have thin hair but its always straight (Asian trait). I have beed trying to curl it but then it goes straight again. You should just live with what you have, find a bright side to the bad. Straighten your hair (If it can). Sometimes having thick hair is not all that great. Remeber, life's too short to worry about trival things!

um, my mom has really thin hair and she just gets it permed. i have no idea what to tell you, but if you're concerned about the length, make your hair more wavy instead of curly. it will look a ton longer, and less frizzy (if your curls are really frizzy)
