It really doesn't matter which brand you buy, but the one thing that you should look out for are coloured gels, white gels, or gels with a scent. Coloured and white gels can leave a film on your hair after a while, because it is the last thing that you apply to your hair. I have no idea why using a gel with a scent is bad, but I was just told that it was.
Just make sure that the gel you use is fragrance free and clear.
